Concrete Detroit Grit Meets Modern Music

Born and raised in the concrete corridors of Detroit, Michigan, Rah stage name (TPop RAH & RapRah) turns survival and life struggle into symphonies and medlodic harmonized melodies. Half Thai and Cambodian American started music young, going to band rehearsal with his father's traditional Cambodian band, Rah would clean up at Cloud Born Production for studio time as a teenager for Detroit Legend Gary E. Praeg. Rah took music courses at The Disc/Recording Institute of Detroit and partnered with Mr. Tom Garlardi in his earlyday's became a mentee under Mr. Eddie Wolfe for Production, Engineering and Composition music. ( His High School teacher ).

TPop RAH name comes from Thailand, where he visits regularly for events. Thai - Pop blend intricate with hip hop, rap, R&B and Old Thailand and Cambodian classical music. He weights heavy and loves Indian music instruments which blends well with his creativity. Rah has a big following and fan base in Asia especially India, Thailand and Cambodia throughout SE Asia.

Influenced by the storytelling of local Detroit rappers, church choirs, his dad's rock band and the razor-sharp delivery of Eminem and many other mainstream musicians, the Detroit lyricist began writing bars in the back of high school notebooks.

As a music producer has work with many local acts and singers for decades. Rah decided to return to the studio microphone for fun and record himself using new recording equipment but loves his role as a professional producer. After his recent 2026 breakout underground single "YSF ( You're Sexual Fantasy" garnered over 2 million streams independently, TPop RAH cemented his place in the city's resurgence.

His debut Heartbroken & Single Double Album , blends dusty soul samples with heavy, trunk-rattling 808s. It is an unfiltered look at relationships, survival, resilience, and ambition. With a growing digital footprint and co-signs from underground legends, TPop RAH is no longer just chasing the dream—he is defining the landscape.
